Before Oscars

Actually I don't like to compare movies or music, rate them like 10 to 1. It's not so rigt cause it's not scientific stuff, there is no true or false. Just some movies are liked more. Even if its not important for me, I love to watch Oscars.
The most loved way of award nights is red carpet and live performances for me. I don't care much who'll tale the Oscars tonight but I'm really curious about James Franco and Anne Hathaway's performances. Also there is so great actors will on stage to give Oscars... Jude Law, Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Jackman, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., Nicole Kidman etc. It'll nice to see them on stage. There'll be 5 Oscar songs performed on stage, I'm waiting for Florence Welch's "If I Rise" (127 Hours OST).
Aslına bakarsanız filmlerin ve müziklerin yarıştırılmasını pek doğru buluyorum. Çünkü beğeni çok kişiye özgü birşey. Bu işin matemeatiği yok ki, ortada doğru ya da yanlış yok. Sadece çoğunluk tarafından daha çok beğeni toplama durumu var. Yani aslında ödülü kimin aldığı pek önemli olmasa da yine de Oscar'lar bizi heyecanlandırmaya devam ediyor.
Ödül törenlerinin en sevdiğim yanı, kırmızı halı ve canlı sahne performanslarıdır. Bu gece ödülleri kimin alacağından çok James Franco ve Anne Hathaway'in sunuculuk performanslarını merak ediyorum. Ayrıca bu gece ödülleri sunacak isimlerde birbirinden şahane. Jude Law, Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Jackman, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr. ve Nicole Kidman sadece bir kısmı. Ayrıca çok sevdiğim  Florence Welch bu sene adaylar içerisinden çok sevdiğim 127 Hours'ın "If I Rise" şarkısın seslendirecek. Bu bile Oscar'ları izlemek için bir neden.

From the nominees Black Swan and The Kids Are All Right are totally disappointment for me. Black Swan is not so bad but so overrated. Before I watched the movie I thought that I'm going to watch something visually and musically glamorous. But it's not. There is just a "White Swan", did you see the Black Swan in the movie? I just saw her naive part but where is the Black Swan's agression?  Don't tell me that her eyes turns red and grew wings on stage are her evil part's reflection. Tension is on the way but movie is lack of great sound effects.
The Kids Are All Right have great cast and unique script but it's like incomplete movie. Also what's the big deal of Annette Bening? I think Julianne Moore is much better than her. I don't think that Benning deserves Oscar.
Aday filmlerden The Kids Are All Right ve Black Swan'ın benim için hayak kırıklığı olduğunu söylemeliyim. Black Swan'ı izlemeden önce görsel ve müzikal anlamda çok şahane bir film izleyeceğimi düşünmüştüm. Natalie Portman rolünün hakkını verse dahi, ben o filmde sadece White Swan'ı gördüm. Ortada bir Black Swan yoktu. Gözlerin kırmızılaşması, kızımızın sahnede siyah kanatlara sahip olması onun içindeki şeytanı yansıtmaya yetmemiş. Gerilimin dozu iyi kullanılmış ama ses konusunda filmde eksikler var gibi.
The Kids Are All Right ise başarılı kadrosu ve değişik senaryosuna rağmen çok yarım kalmış bir film gibi. Hatta Annette Bening'in "En İyi Kadın Oyuncu" dalında aday olmasına anlam veremedim bile. Julianne Moore ondan kat be kat iyiydi.

I totally loved 127 Hours! I'm a huge fan of James Franco and he did his best in that movie. Almost one-man show and one place but it's not boring. We all know the end before watch but Danny Boyle makes it perfect emotional drama. I generally love based on a true story movies and it affected me so much. Because of Slumdog Millionaire, I think they won't give a chance to this movie.
127 Hours... Bir kere herkesin bu filmi izleyemeyeceğini söylemem lazım. Ülkemizde yeni vizyona girdi sayılır, gitmeden önce kana karşı zaafiyetiniz varsa sakın diyorum! Neredeyse tek kişilik oyunculukla, tek bir yerde devam eden film gerçek bir hikayeye dayanıyor. Konusunu, sonunu bilmemize rağmen beni son zamanlarda etkileyen böyle bir film olmamıştı. James Franco şu ana kadar en etkileyici performanslarından birini gerçekleştirmiş. Danny Boyle'un Slumdog Millionaire'inin üstünden çok zaman geçmediği için bu filmin şansı pek yok gibi.

The Fighter is top on my list because of Christian Bale. I think I'll be sad if he won't take the Oscar. This movie is also based on a true story. Amy Adams played unusual role in this movie and I liked her so much.
The Fighter, Christian Bale'in şahane oyunculuğuyla benim için yine zirvede olan filmlerden. Sanırım sadece Bale Oscar'ı alamazsa üzülürüm. Yine gerçek hayattan beyaz perdeye aktarılan filmin oyuncu kadrosu çok iyi. Amy Adams onu görmeye pek alışık olmadığımız tarzda bir rolle karşımıza çıktığı için pek sevindim ve çok beğendim.

I said I don't care who'll take Oscars but isn't it nonscence that Nolan is not nominated for "Best Director"? Unfortunately, Academy doesn't care of sci-fi movies. By the way, did u see how great movies Leonardo Di Caprio played after Catch Me If You Can? He's going great.
Adaylıkları önemsemiyorum diyorum ama Christopher Nolan'ın "En İyi Yönetmen" dalında aday gösterilmemesi ne demektir? Akademi bilim kurgu filmlerine maalesef her zaman burun kıvırıyor ve gereken değeri göstermiyor. Ben Inception'ı çok çok beğendim. Bu arada Leonardo Di Caprio Catch Me If You Can'den sonra ne kadar harika filmlerde oynamış fark ettiniz mi?

I really love period movies and dramas, and The King's Speech is one of the best of them. Colin Firth is the strongest nominee for "Best Leading Actor" and he totally deserves it. But I'll be happy if James Franco takes it, which seems hard :)
Dönem filmlerini her zaman çok sevdiğim için The King's Speech'i çok çok beğendim. Colin Firth'ün zaten ödülü almasına kesin gözüyle bakılıyor. Ki kesinlikle hak ediyor, ondan sonra en çok oy alanın James Franco olmasını dilerdim.

The Social Network is also little overrated movie in my opinion. They gave a lot of awards to TSN before Oscars, I think they wanted to awarded Facebook. People loves success stories right?
The Social Network'te sanki biraz şişirilmiş filmlerden biri gibi. Bence bu filmin Oscar'lardan önceki birçok ödülü kucaklaması Facebook şirketinin başarısından kaynaklanıyor. İnsanlar başarı hikayelerini hep sever değil mi?

The Toy Story 3 is great animaton and deserves to be in that list.
The Toy Story 3 çok şirin bir animasyondu ve 10 film içindeki yerini hak ediyor. Hala izlemeyeniniz varsa mutlaka izleyin diyorum.

I've still not watched True Grit so I don't have any comments about that. There is last nominee Winter's Bone, I think Jennifer Lawrance is nearly perfect in her role. Forget about Natalie and Annette, she deserves "Best Leading Actress". Movie is quite slow and not for everyone. Especially who can't stand to watch dialogue movies. Acting is great and subject is different in this movie.
True Grit'i hala izleyemediğim için malesef yorum yapamıyorum ama Winter's Bone kesinlikle "En İyi Kadın Oyuncu" ödülünü hak ediyor. Jennifer Lawrance mükemmele yakın bir oyunculuk sergilemiş. Filmi ağır temposu yüzünden herkes izlemeyebilir veya izleyip sevmeyebilir ama bence değişik bir konu ve harika oyunculukların olduğu bir dram.

Stuck in my mind... Shutter Island is the best movie(my taste) in 2010 but don't have any nominees. It's really shocking for me. Anyone knows why is that?
Aklıma takıldı, adaylıkların nasıl geliştiğini bilmiyorum ama yıl içerisinde izleyip en beğendiğim film olan Shutter Island'ın hiç bir dalda adaylığı olmaması bana çok şaşırtıcı geldi. Bilen varsa söylesin :)
